Refund policy

For courses and workshops

I can refund the cost of a workshop if you give me enough notice. Here are the details for refunds… 

If you cancel your booking more than four weeks before the start date of an event or course, I can refund the course or event fee, minus the transaction cost**.

If you cancel more than 14 days prior to the event or course, I can refund** 75% of the fee or offer you the equivalent in credit for another event in my programme, if  there is a waiting list and I can find a replacement participant.

If you cancel in less than 14 days prior to the event or course, I may be able to offer a refund of 50% of the fee or credit toward another workshop in my programme to use within the year if there is a waiting list and I can find a replacement participant.

I hope you understand that I run on a shoestring, it’s not easy to find a replacement, especially at short notice, and it takes extra admin and publicity time.

Joining information is sent out at least 2 days prior to an event. I’m sorry I can’t refund if you booked an event, but didn’t find the joining instructions or Zoom link in your emails. They can go astray into your spam folder and you can always email me to resend it before the event starts – I always check my emails before an event. My phone number is also listed in the ‘contact me’ tab as a last resort.

I can’t refund if the email address you signed up with bounces or your mailbox is full. You’ll need to contact me with a suitable email address at least a couple of hours before the event starts.
