Human rights anthology

I’ve got two sparkling new pieces in In Protest: 150 Poems for Human Rights edited by Helle Abelvik-Lawson, Anthony Hett and Laila.

I’m reading at the launch on 20 October (Sunday) at 6pm in the Beveridge Hall, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU as part of the Bloomsbury Festival. The anthology will be on sale at a special price of £5.00. So far, speakers include Ruth Padel and Sigrid Rausing and other readers are James Byrne, David Lee Morgan and Chrissie Gittins.

Published by The Human Rights Consortium, University of London.

Let the muse loose…

I’m reading at the Loose Muse anthology launch on Thursday, 19th September. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere jammed with a variety of women poetry and prose writers.

Cottons, 70 Exmouth Market, London EC1R 4QP ( downstairs), 7.30pm. Cottons is also a Caribbean Restaurant so you can have a tasty dinner there too.

FREE, and you can buy the anthology too.

There is also a launch in Manchester on 17 September

Loose Muse is a regular women’s writing night see:  Of course men welcome to listen too!
