Ginsberg, Creeley, Ashbery, Kerouac, Ferlinghetti, Koch, Olson, Blackburn… Postmodern American poets that emerged in the 50s and become popular in the 60s and 70s had a massive impact on writing – they brought in new forms and subjects responding to the postwar nuclear age, wanted poetry to be more accessible and relevant to the community, and shrugged off conventions of the past.

This is the launch of a new anthology inspired by these poets. Crux, edited by Robert Vas Dias is the work of a talented Poetry School group I have been a part of lead by Robert.

The Goat pub has a good range of ales – there’ll be an ale festival on while we’re there to help wash down the poetry! The limited edition anthology will be on sale for a bargain £1.

If you want a copy posted: Send £1.32 inc p&p, to CRUX, 5b Compton Avenue, London N1 2XD.
